"For more than two thousand years gold's natural qualities made it man's universal
medium of exchange. In contrast to political money, gold is honest money that survived
the ages and will live on
long after the political fiats of today have gone the way of all paper."
[Hans F. Sennholz]
Welcome
Welcome to the Honest Money Gold and Silver Report. We are a new website dedicated to the understanding of money, coin, credit, and circulation. See Mission Statement.
This is a subject not usually understood or even discussed. Our goal is to help you master the many seemingly complex issues involved. Ours is a tale seldom told.
Information is available at many different levels: for children and beginners, to the more experienced and well heeled, and especially for those who seek a path rarely traveled.
The emphasis is on learning, and on how to teach oneself. There are many tools available and more will be coming, according to the feedback we get from you. Check out the site map to see all your choices.
There are links to other websites. Six different bulletin board talk groups are offered, each on a different topic of discussion such as: money, investments, health, philosophy, geo-politics, socio-economics, etc.
Links are provided to areas with charts and graphs; others with links to major news publications and outlets; others to areas of education. On site, there is a glossary of financial and economic terms.
There will be from time to time special weekly guest contributors of pertinent articles and papers.
Mr. Gnazzo will provide a bi-weekly article series. The topics will vary, however, the main focus will be on our present monetary system of paper fiat Federal Reserve Notes and how it compares to the hard money system of the Constitution, which mandates silver and gold coin. The articles will be presented as a series of papers that flow one into the next, offering a body of work regarding monetary theory and related issues.
The analyses will encompass a wide variety of subjects that all ultimately revert to Honest Money. An archive of Mr. Gnazzo's many papers and articles on the subjects is available under Gnazzo Archives.
The focus is on a holistic system of knowledge, where all subjects are inter-related and parts of the greater whole.
Included within the body of Mr. Gnazzo's work will be a blueprint for a return to the hard money system of the Constitution - a system of Honest Weights and Measures of gold and silver coin.
There will also be suggestions for the possible use of digital gold accounts and short-term self-liquidating real bills for commercial use. Gold backed bonds and life insurance will be discussed as well. These topics will be addressed further down the road in the series of articles as the basic monetary theory warrants priority .
A weekly market wrap-up will be offered, including a summary of the major markets final weekly prices with pertinent charts and graphs. Commentary and analysis of the week's market action will be provided. Major news events that have a significant impact on the markets will be offered under the section heading news events.
There is an area for beginners and another called Kids Corner, where children can be exposed to the basics. Learning how to teach yourself is the keystone to knowledge and understanding.
As we said earlier, the website is new and has not been fully completed. We will be adding and changing things according to the feedback we receive from you via the contact us link.
To start the site off in the Spirit it was conceived in, we will have an Open Letter to Congress available for all to read. The letter explains how our present monetary system does not adhere to the Constitution regarding money and the unit-of-account called the "dollar."
We provide a fully footnoted and researched paper with links to all of the pertinent documents sited in the letter. At the end we offer some suggestions as how to return to the monetary plan of our Constitution - a hard money currency of gold and silver coin, without bills of credit.
Visitors will be able to freely access the letter at all times. If in agreement with its Spirit and intent, you may digitally sign the letter. Stand up and be counted, exercise your unalienable right to seek redress from Congress that the Constitution be adhered to and followed - by all representatives of the people in the performance of their duty to serve We The People of the United States of America.
Depending upon the success of the letter, as determined by the number of signers of the document, we will either send the letter to Congress at one time, or monthly if the numbers so dictate, which we hope they will. The more the merrier as they say.
We trust you will enjoy the site and learn from others on it, and in return help others to learn from you. Remember, we all have a great deal to offer to one another, so let's do it - together, one step at a time.
All feedback on any ideas on how to improve the site is very much wanted and appreciated.

"Money is the most important subject intellectual persons can
investigate and reflect upon. It is so Important that our present civilization
may collapse unless it is widely understood and its defects remedied very soon."
