Douglas V. Gnazzo has retired from his previous position as CEO of New England Renovation LLC, a historical restoration contractor that specialized in the restoration of historic buildings that are vintage landmarks. He writes for numerous financial websites, and his work appears both here and abroad.

He was recently honored as a Foundational Scholar for the Foundation For The Advancement of Monetary Education (FAME). Mr. Gnazzo's interests spread across a wide spectrum providing a very eclectic approach to learning and education.

The Honest Money website was launched in March of 2006 and is still a work in progress.

A couple close friends first suggested the idea to me, and eventually a number of professional investment advisors that publish my articles on their websites suggested the same. At first, I had the patented comeback of "what are you guys...nuts?" But the more I thought about it the more I liked the idea. I love to discuss and share ideas with other people, and I love to write. So, having my own website is sort of a dream come true. I'm already on a mission, so the website just helps further the cause.

Our mission statement expresses the site's raison d'etre, which is to provide a forum and venue to help facilitate the learning, education, and awareness of money - from several different viewpoints and avenues of approach.

Our goal is to help educate all citizens of our great country in the understanding of Honest Money as decreed in The Constitution. If We The People do not know what the Constitution says, then how do we know if our government is following its blueprint.

I have two young children, and I am concerned with the kind of world I will leave behind to them when I'm gone. As you will come to find by reading the material on the site, money has a huge affect upon our lives. Money will be a dominant determining factor in the future of our world. If we have Honest Money, we will have an Honest World. If we have dishonest money, we will have a dishonest World, and perhaps even worse.

The story you are about to hear is a story not often told. I hope you enjoy it. If you hear the sound of truth, tell the story to others. Suggest to them to tell the story to others. Such is how good works spread - if so intended. A grassroots educational process of We The People is just what the doctor ordered. I trust I can fulfill the order.
